I worked with Kendra for my wedding in Brooklyn in May of 2022 and I could not love her more. When I started to plan my wedding, I had very specific aesthetic in mind (I LOVE flowers in general and it was one of the more important parts of my wedding) but was not sure that I would be able to find someone who could make it come to life. The last thing I wanted was a generic round bouquet and cliche table pieces with a lot of roses. I looked at a lot of florists that service NYC weddings and was so disappointed by the styles or the price range. However, when I saw what Kendra can do for my wedding, I immediately knew that I found my person. She uses greeneries and textures such as eucalyptus and moss to make everything so delicate and natural. I loved all the flowers she used for demo but I had specific flowers in mind that I wanted for my wedding and Kendra made sure I got all of them in my bouquet and the table pieces. One of the coolest things she did was using live plants for the alter! I always felt terrible throwing away so many flowers after one wedding and Kendra's way of making such a romantic arch while not wasting a lot of flowers was perfect for my taste. And I was so grateful when she let some of my guests even bring the table pieces home!! My wedding guests sent me photos of the flowers and moss prospering in their house days after my wedding. When I was planning the wedding with her, she met with me and my husband multiple times to discuss the details and she made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. The way she digested and presented the ideas I pitched to her was amazing! On top of that, she was so organized and communicative. I am a very anxious person (though Kendra assured me multiple times that I'm not that bad lol) who loves to keep things planned and organized. If it weren't for her, I would have been a lot more stressed about how the whole aesthetic would tie in together. However, she was so on top of my wedding planning and vision that I decided to ask her to be my day-of coordinator! I knew that I would be very stressed on my wedding day and Kendra already knew the details of my wedding that it made sense. For a small additional charge, she took on the role and it was one of the best decisions I made. It rained unexpectedly on my wedding day with flash flood warning which threw everyone for a panic. Kendra was on top of everything and made sure my guests could dry themselves and helped me delay the ceremony by 20minutes so everyone could arrive and be settled. I honestly am not sure what my wedding would have looked like without her. I still keep in touch with her just to update her on my life and I feel so blessed to have had a florist who totally understood me and my wedding vision. Highly recommend for anyone who loves delicate, beautiful and unique flower arrangements or anyone who feels working with vendors with amazing personalities is a key to successful wedding.
